PELMETS

  
    Pelmets are great; they not only finish the window but also keep the heat in at wintertime and the cool in at summertime.  Heat escapes over the top of your curtains in winter, so if your curtains are thermally lined, then a pelmet is a good idea for energy efficiency. 
There are so many different choices in pelmets; from wooden pelmets, padded pelmets to soft pelmets, in various shapes, colours & styles.  A pelmet is a good way to play with coordinates & textures to match or contrast with your curtains or blinds (see images left & right).  At Material World we can arrange to have your pelmets made exactly how you want them; talk to us to see what you can do for your windows.
